His love of portraiture stems from the five years he spent traveling the world while assisting renowned photographer Martin Schoeller. He counts his encounters with hunter-gatherer tribes of East Africa and the Amazon as once in a lifetime highlights.
When not on assignment, collaborating, or teaching, Markian relishes spending time with his son.
